Growth Assessment

1. Where are you in your spiritual journey? (Select the answer that best describes you currently.) I am just starting out and have a lot of questions about God and faith. I have been at this a while but need to develop my knowledge of Scripture. I am a mature Christian and want to serve God more faithfully.

What difference does it make in someone’s life if they believe in Jesus? I want to know how the Bible relates to my life.

4. At this time, do you need to prioritize your inward journey (who am I becoming) or your outward journey (what should I be doing)? I need to focus on my inward journey (who am I becoming?). I need to focus on my outward journey (what should I be doing?). I need to grow in both my outward and my inward journey. What I really need is to be connected with other people in the church.

5. Our previous church experiences shape us in many ways. Tell us about your past church experience: (check all that apply) My experience with church is limited. This is mostly new to me. My experience in the church has been positive and life giving. I have wounds from previous experiences with the church. I grew up in the church, drifted for a while, and am now re-engaging.

6. How would you describe your life at the moment: (check all that apply) The wheels are falling off and I am looking for help. I have a hunger to grow. I need to be challenged.
